Corporate video — FAQ
Common questions on this service.
-
What's the difference between event capture and corporate video?
Event capture is what we do at your live event, multi-camera in the moment, run-of-show synced, chaotic, time-pressured, single-day. Corporate video is the controlled studio or office shoot, interviews, testimonials, brand films, training content. Different briefs, different gear focus (lavalier mics vs boom mics, controlled lighting vs available light), different deliverable formats. Same crew, different craft. -
Do you have a studio, or shoot on-location?
Both. We have access to a Sydney studio with controlled lighting, sound dampening, and various backdrop options for interviews and testimonials. On-location shoots are equally standard, we travel kit to your office, client site, factory floor, or anywhere the subject works best. For most corporate content, on-location feels more authentic (executive in their office, employee at their desk, customer in their workplace) and the kit comes to you. -
How fast can you turn around a testimonial video or interview?
For a single-subject testimonial (60–90 seconds, brand graphics, music): typically 7–10 business days from shoot to final cut. For interview series (multiple subjects, longer-form edits, transcripts): 2–4 weeks. For brand films or sizzle reels with motion graphics and licensed music: 3–6 weeks. Same-week turnaround possible for urgent comms with prior planning. We scope timing in the proposal. -
Do you handle scripting, interview prep, and direction?
Yes, for full-service shoots. We can develop question lists for interviews, brief subjects on what to expect, run a pre-shoot 10-minute warmup conversation to settle nerves, and direct on the day for natural delivery. For executives or customers who'd benefit from coaching, we offer pre-shoot prep sessions. If you have your own creative team or messaging brief, we work to it. Brief in the proposal so we know which mode to scope. -
What does pricing look like for corporate video?
Day-rate for the crew (camera operator + audio + lighting + producer + on-site editor for fast turn), plus post-production time, plus licensing and music. A single-day testimonial shoot with one subject and a 90-second final cut typically lands $5–10k. A multi-subject interview series with brand film deliverables typically runs $15–40k+. Ongoing content production (monthly retainer) is structured as a day-rate package with priority scheduling. We scope based on the brief, the deliverable count, and the timeline. -
Can you produce a series of videos with consistent visual style?
Yes, series work is one of our specialties. We lock the visual treatment (lighting setup, framing, colour grading, brand graphics templates) at the start of the series and apply it consistently across every episode. This is essential for content marketing programs where a viewer should immediately recognise a video as part of your series. We document the treatment so future shoots stay on-brand even if a different crew handles them later. -
Do you do video podcasts?
Yes. Multi-camera video podcast production is standard work, typically 3–4 cameras (wide, host close-up, guest close-up, optional cutaway), lavalier or boom audio per subject, branded set design or location. We deliver both the long-form video master and short-form social cutdowns (60s–90s clips) ready for distribution. For brands building a podcast as content marketing, we offer a recurring-shoot day-rate package that locks in availability. -
Can you re-cut existing event footage into marketing content?
Yes, this is one of the highest-value services we offer for clients who've already invested in event capture. We take last year's conference footage, panel sessions, or keynote recordings and re-cut them into ongoing marketing assets: highlight reels, speaker showcase clips, thought leadership snippets for socials, sponsor recap edits. Your existing footage library becomes a content engine without re-shooting. -
Do you work with internal comms teams or marketing agencies as well?
Both. Some clients have in-house creative teams or work with marketing agencies; we slot in as the production partner executing their brief. Others want us to handle everything from creative direction through delivery. We're equally comfortable as the production crew on a third-party brief and as the lead creative on your campaign. Brief in the proposal so we know the working model.
