Vision & video — FAQ
Common questions on this service.
-
Can you do IMAG and broadcast from the same camera package?
Yes, we split feeds at the switcher so IMAG (full-screen on-stage) and broadcast (composed with lower-thirds and overlays) get the same source material treated for their different audiences. -
Do you supply LED walls?
We supply LED walls up to common conference and stage sizes from trusted partners. We handle design, install, content delivery, and live operation. -
What content formats do you support?
Almost anything: ProRes/H.264 video, image stacks, Keynote/PowerPoint exports, web-based slides, and live screen capture. We render to the venue's pixel grid in advance. -
Can you do projection mapping for product launches or activations?
Yes, for both standard surfaces (presentation screens, large flat walls) and custom builds (sculptural pieces, architectural features, vehicles). Projection mapping requires careful design lead time because the content needs to be authored for the specific geometry of the surface, but the results are striking when done right. We handle the projection design, surface measurement, content brief, projector specification, and live operation. For ambitious mapping we often pair with specialist content studios for the creative work while we handle the technical projection chain. Lead time for custom mapping is usually 4-8 weeks depending on content complexity. -
What's the difference between PTZ and operator-controlled cameras for events?
PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) cameras are remotely controlled from the vision desk by one operator handling multiple cameras. They're great for fixed positions where you need framing changes without a camera op on every position (audience reaction shots, presenter close-ups during talks). Operator-controlled cameras have a dedicated person behind each one, giving more dynamic framing, faster reactions to unscripted moments, and creative shot composition for hero moments. For most conferences a mix works best: PTZs for predictable angles, operated cameras for the keynote and Q&A. We'll suggest the right balance for your event during planning. -
How do you handle live graphics, lower-thirds, and sponsor branding?
Live graphics are switched into the vision feed at the right moments by the vision director. We prepare lower-thirds (name and title overlays for speakers), sponsor logos, segment transitions, scoreboards or auction graphics for awards events, and any other branded elements ahead of the event using your brand assets. During the show, the vision director triggers graphics in sync with the run-of-show. For complex events with many speakers or sponsor moments, we use dedicated playback software (Resolume, vMix) with prepared playlists. The graphics can appear on the in-room IMAG, the broadcast stream, or both, with separate looks for each if needed.
