Recording & post — FAQ

Common questions on this service.

  • How fast can you deliver edited content?
Highlight reels in 48 hours and full edits in 7–10 days are routine. Same-day and same-week turnarounds are possible with prior planning.
  • Can you cut from cameras we didn't supply?
Yes, we're comfortable editing from venue or third-party footage as long as we have the source files. Sync alignment depends on the source quality.
  • Do you deliver in broadcast specs?
Yes, we can deliver in EBU R128 audio loudness, ProRes 422 HQ, broadcast-safe colour, and any platform spec sheet you need to meet.
  • Can you deliver edits with our brand graphics, intros, and lower-thirds applied?
Yes. Provide your brand assets (logo files, fonts, colour codes, lower-third templates if you have them) and we'll build the brand identity into every deliverable. For events with multiple speakers, lower-thirds with name and title appear on every cut. Intros and outros are produced to your spec (animated logo, sting, music cue). Sponsor graphics get integrated at the right moments per your sponsorship deck. If you don't have brand assets ready, we'll build a simple house style that matches your overall identity and you can sign off on it as part of the planning process.
  • What recording formats can you deliver for editors or archive?
Standard delivery is ProRes 422 HQ for video (broadcast-grade quality, edits cleanly in any platform) and 24-bit/48 kHz BWAV for audio (multi-track, with embedded timecode for sync). We can also deliver in H.264 for web-friendly distribution, DNxHR for Avid editing workflows, or any specific platform spec sheet you need to hit. For archive deliverables we recommend keeping the ProRes masters plus a compressed H.264 reference copy. Files are delivered via Frame.io, WeTransfer Pro, or to your specific cloud storage; small projects fit on a delivered hard drive if you prefer physical.
  • Do you handle captioning and subtitles for accessibility?
Yes, for both live captions on the broadcast and post-event captions on the recordings. Live captioning uses AI services (Otter, AWS Transcribe) for internal events, or human captioners (CART) for public-facing and regulated events where accuracy matters. Post-event captions are generated from the recording, then human-reviewed for accuracy and timed to match speech. We deliver captions in standard formats (SRT, VTT, embedded in MP4 or QuickTime) so they work on any platform. For compliance-driven work (government, healthcare, public sector), human captioning is the default; for general corporate, AI with light human review is the sensible balance of cost and quality.
