Pioneer Theatre, a community theatre venue operated by The Hills Shire Council in Sydney's north-west. The 380-seat auditorium is a popular choice for cultural ceremonies (including Indian and Hindu weddings with full mandap configurations), community performances, corporate seminars, and council-hosted events. Studio AV regularly supplies AV production here for cultural weddings, community awards, and corporate hires.

Things we’ve learned working here.
Pioneer Theatre has a working stage lighting grid and a permanent house PA, but most cultural and corporate hires we run here augment with our own rig — Shure ULXD wireless for the multi-mic configurations weddings demand, Behringer WING at FOH for the channel count, and a dedicated handheld for the celebrant or MC. The red velvet curtains make for strong vision-cuts on broadcast cameras when streaming the ceremony.
